Vega Mare is an author and former senior shipboard officer whose work moves between cultural narrative, atmospheric nonfiction, and cinematic fable. She spent more than fifteen years working aboard international ships, developing a discipline shaped by clarity, observation, and the architecture of place.

 

Her writing draws from visual traditions grounded in season, restraint, and atmosphere — particularly those found across East Asia — as well as from extensive travel through remote and historically layered regions.
